Yeah, but we (or at least I) don't work in the typing pools of Billy Wilder's
'The Apartment' any more. Typing seems to be an individualistic thing. I agree
that the phrase 'typing pool' is antiquated. Let's not forget too that
'typewriter' used to refer to a person.
