I actually like October Project's second record as much as the
first.  I wouldn't right them off as one hit wonders in any
event.  They had 300,000 CDs sold on their second record but
still got dropped by CBS.  They took time off, briefly reformed
with a different lead singer.  Now, they have reformed with their
original second lead singer, Marina Belica, singing lead.  At the
moment they are in the studio recording their third record.  In
the meantime, Marina's solo record hit the charts in a few of the
stronger OP markets last Fall.  Touring will start in a few more
