OK I got the gist of this discussion thing. Seems cool. I signed on a week ago and watched what was happening coz I didn't know what to expect. Lafreneer is not my real name but Nathan is. I've been into Joni mitchell for a few years and it gets better and better by the album. I have 4 CDs. I got Turbulent indigo from a friend and I liked the different sound from anything I had heard so I bought Night Ride Home and couldn't stop playing it. Just recently I have Hits and Joni Mitchell. her voice is very high on the early songs. I'm not sure I will like that but the melodies are great. Why is her voice so different. I was listening to Nathan La Freneer when I opened my hotmail address so that is why I am nlafreneer. I like the song about the boticelli black boy. What are the best Cds to get? I think the early stuff is too folky for me. Can someone tell me what the Joni fest is all about? Thank you. Nathan
