Nope...me and mine loved it too. That bit towards the end with the blue fairy had me weeping profusely; so desolate and sad. I thought this was a great movie - and I'm sort of wary of Speilburgien epics at this point. (I'm not even sure I can sit through E.T. again when it is rereleased.)
