Never heard Jevetta Steele's version, but I'm sure it's as great as you say. 
I've only heard her sing one song: "I Am Calling You" from the film Baghdad 
Cafe (or Out Of Rosenheim in its original German version). Steele smokes that 
song to a crisp.
