I need to step in here and say a great big me too, well said Fred. And I agree with Suze, this is a great forum to share one's ideas and thoughts, keeping in mind that differences are the spice of life. And here comes my slice of jalapeno pepper, it doesn't sit well with me to make that blanket statement 'I believe in capitalism' without looking under the covers first. That said, I can see that making a profit is a good thing, however, some of my concerns are: at what cost? How are these profits made? Who is being hurt and how and why? In whose best interests? Exploitation seems to be something that is a given, taken for granted by many, a *white-washed* oh well, that's the way it is philosophy. Like Fred, I find it very difficult to sit back in a state of comfortably numb and say nothing. As if to say what the hell, there's nothing *I* can do about *it*. Just because that's the way it is (for now), doesn't mean I have to like it. Mags np: Cano, au nord du notre vie ===== You open my heart, you do. Yes you do. - JM Yahoo!
