Toledo is a perfectly preserved classic Spanish city, enclosed in the original city wall, with lots of diverse architectural influences, notably Moorish. And the Cathedral is one of the most extraordinary buildings I've ever seen. And yet, and yet: seemingly on EVERY corner there was a bleedin' McDonald's or Burger King, or even both.
