I usually don't pronounce it, as it doesn't come up in
everyday conversation. ("Who was that clandestine lady
I saw you with last night?" "That was no lady - that
was my wife.") I probably would pronounce it the way
Joni does, but I'm not sure if being Canadian has
anything to do with it. I could look it up on a
dictionary... naaah. I'm going to take this to work
and see how people there pronounce it. The people I
work with are always arguing about stuff like that
(they're writers, what do you expect?)

I seem to recall IV Paul or someone that nasty making
an issue of this a few years ago (something along the
lines of there being only ONE way to pronounce it and
anyone who thought otherwise was just plain stupid.)
