We are adopting a dog (she's being brought over Thurs
to meet the cats and if all goes well she'll be
staying) and we need to find a solution to a dilemma.
We have 4 cats, 3 of whom eat Nutromax. They all get
fed on top of the clothes dryer. The 4th cat, he's a
very big(!) boy, eats Felidae and gets fed in the
kitchen. We leave the food out at all times.
Besides the fact that the big boy has trouble jumping
up on the dryer, he absolutly can't eat Nutromax
because it gives him severe diarrhea. So, that is
how we keep him away from that food.
Now with the dog joining our household we're trying to
figure out how and where we can feed the big boy
without the dog being able to get to the food. I
don't think keeping his food in a room with a baby
gate will work because it might be hard for the cat to
jump over the gate.
We would appreciate any and all suggestions.
(I wonder if Joni had this problem when she added
little Coco to her household)
