True, but I believe that she got sober for "Hard Times For Lovers", which was (I think) released in 1977 or '79. This album (one of my favorites, by the way) still has her using this flat voice. She perked up a bit with "Running For My Life" and the superb "Times of Our Lives", though. I love the 80's Judy albums...
