What exactly makes a song a "standard?" Just sheer repetition? So which Joni songs deserve repetition? All of them! (OK, maybe not Dancing Clown). In terms of songs which are excellent musically and lyrically and lend themselves to credible covers by others, I can think of Flat Tires (wow do I like the new version), Moon at the Window, Shadows and Light, Carey.
