I have a 15 year old west highland who was named Kathryn Dianne
after Kathryn Hepbern, but my southern family quickly changed it
to Katie Jo.
We also have two male cats, Sydney Lee, and Jr. Sydney picked his
own name, we had tried other names but wouldn't answer, then one day
my partner said Sydney, and he came to her. Jr. was named because he
looks just like Sid.
We also had a 10 year old dalmatian named Sparky Allen, that was my
partners dog and I haven't a clue as to why.
When I was younger I had a dog named Hobart Shane. My oldest sister
was expecting her first child and my mother and brother-in-law could not
agree on a name. He wanted Dallas, she wanted Robert. My brother in law
came over one day and said if it were a boy it would be Hobart Shane, and if
a girl Hobartress Lavern, so when I got the dog, it was named Hobart Shane.
One more note, my brother-in-law got a dog and named it Dallas, my nephew
was named Dustin Robert.
