By the same token, there are some cheesy Joni covers that are so awful, they make me laugh out loud and I LOVE them. Also, there are "artists" like Jandek, The Shaggs, Wesley Willis who put out just awful stuff, yet there's a real attraction I have to them. Harvey, "Beautiful Feeling" (even though I like this CD, it's just sorta Patti Smith/Liz Phair/Kim Gordon all rolled up in a ball, so I don't see her as being much of an innovator)
