can you speak german? or at least do the phonetics? the perfect song for your range is mahler's ich bin der welt abhanden gekommen. it's the fifth song in the ruckert (i can't do the umlaut) lieder cycle. mind you, it takes practice but it is pretty straightforward. it is short but oh so wonderful. not operatic at all. wallyK
