So 79% of 14% equals 11% who voted Republican. That's a small portion to me, unless one thinks 0% is the acceptable portion! I wonder what the % of religious fundamentalists vote Democrat. I'd guess it would be about the same.

Far from it. 79% voted Republican, 19% for the Democrats. And 11% of the total Republican vote is no small matter, considering most margins of victory are between 3-5% of the vote.
