I agree with you!  I know that I saw "Celebration at Big Sur" on one of the 
NYC re-run channels (5, 9 or 11) in the seventies or early eighties.  I 
imagine that the ghost howling "so spooky for its eagle soul" was young 
Joni singing "Get Together."
