Thanks Wally.

I have just got to the end of a novel I am reading and i read this last night:

'i don't think anyone is evil beyond saving. maybe i'm like my dad that way: naive. But better naive, I think , than calloused to the core.'

The book is called Boy's Life by Robert McCammon. It is an unusual book. Normally when i read a novel, it is the storyitself that grabs me and I take little notice of the way it is written as I find that often detracts formt he story, getting wrapped up in the 'letrary merit' of it. Anyway, I happen to really like the way this man writes and it adds to the wholeexperience. It is set in Alabama, early sixties and chronicles the experiences of good and evil of young boy. I really enjoyed it.
