I think it needs more than two sentences to explain this properly. It is
surely for advanced users of JOSM, and might confuse others. I need to think
about how to use this feature optimally in my own workflow.

On the same note, why not underline the importance of uploading changesets
often, and (if possible) restricting them to a small localized area? Too
many users have edits all over the place, and their changesets show up in
history feeds everywhere. I prefer to make many, small changesets. Uploads
are quick and the risk of conflict low.
