Just to point out: plugins are "third-party", which means the jQuery
team or documentation has no responsability on them. There is
obviously commitment on keeping everything as up to date as possible,
but it's unreasonable to expect that anyone will keep track of
versioning in 2348 plugins.

BTW, nearly all of them are open-source and contain the author's
contact information. You can fix it yourself and send a contribution,
I'm sure it will be apreciated.

(maybe a warning that the plugins are not "official" should be added
to the plugins home page? It looks like the obvious is not so)
