It brings up an interesting point.  All the speed tests are to FIND the
selectors.
What about speed tests in terms of how fast to CHANGE attributes. Or how
fast/smooth/lowest CPU to animate?

Just goes to my pet peeve: The speed tests are flawed.

It's definitely worth pursuing as a plug-in. I can definitely see where an
animateCSS() method would come in handy when needing to animate many
elements on the page at once.
