Well, I tried this:

                $(document).ready(function() {

                        $('#menu-details-index').hide();

                        $('#li-index').mouseover(function() {
                                var answer = $('#menu-details-index');
                                if (answer.is(':not visible')) {
                                        answer.slideDown();
                                }

                        $('#li-index').mouseout(function() {
                                var answer = $('#menu-details-index');
                                if (answer.is(':visible'))
                                        answer.slideUp();
                        })
                        });

                                });

But now the #menu-details-index div won't stay open when
I mouseout from the #li-index li.

How would I keep the #menu-details-index open?

Rick
