After looking through everything, all I can say is that it looks like re-styling the tooltips is quite difficult. The styling is affected by jquery.tooltip.css, screen.css, and jquery.tooltip.js.
Joern dynamically changes the css for the tooltips in jquery.tooltip.js. Does he give any clues about the best procedure for changing the style of the tooltips on the plug-in site?
