Matt's recommendations are right on target. jQuery provides an
abstraction that makes developing in JavaScript substantially easier and
if you truly want to understand the underpinnings of jQuery, then you
need to dig into the jQuery code and, in addition, have a good
understanding of the JavaScript language. It sounds as if you feel you
already have the latter so I would suggest digging into the jQuery code
for more details.
Another option would be to break down in greater detail the areas that
you'd like better clarity on. Unfortunately, your original message was
quite vague & in terms of helping us optimize our time, you'll need to
make the effort to better verbalize what you'd like help with.
