It is Firebug that alerted me to the errors. I was hoping that you could explain them. I am still fairly new to Firebug and so far have net learned how to use it to resolve problems -- only detect them. It is does not appear to be as straight forward as the W3C validators that I quickly came up to speed with. Roddy
