Thanks.  Well, I figured out my issue has nothing to do with jQuery.
I removed all custom scripts and other jquery stuff and still was able
to reproduce.  My issue was with Cufon alone.  Its not the best idea
(I learned) to use Cufon to replace copy text.  I was using it to
replace ALL text... not a good thing yet.
