Back on the planet's surface, Steven heard what Nash had to say.
"Tracks, Mr. Nash? Does it look like anything dangerous might still be in
the area beyond where we are? Can you tell how recent those tracks might be?"
"Not recent at all. The better part of four days, it looks like."
"We'll follow them, but I'm going to be as careful as I can. There is
something here that is bothering me. I can't tell what, but I have the
feeling no one is going to like it."
"Use all due caution, and we'll watch as closely as we can from up here."
Stevent turned back to the others in the team.
"If anyone has any objections to following the tracks, I'd like to hear
them please."
"It sounds as good an option as any, sir," replied the Aqualish ensign. He still thought that they should check out the camp as well, but it was obvious that no one else agreed since there was no response to his earlier suggestion to it.
(anyone else?)
