To select the windows classic theme in windows7, go to personalization. In the list, down arrow till you hear windows7 basic, then right arrow till you hear windows clasic. If not, use all 4 arrows till you find it, it's not a standard list view, it's more like a grid system from where you choose a theme. HTH, D!J!X!

I could not figure out how to set the Windows Classic colors and/or 32-bit color in Windows 7. this used to be in the Display settings of XP but I don't know where this setting went to (if it exists at all). Phil replied: you just need to set you're theme to Windows Classic.
