I'm working with build 1163 of the Jsonar scripts. I believe this has the
HSC 197 sets.

I'm also using JAWS 11 (latest build), Windows 7 64-bit, and the 64-bit
version of Sonar 8.53.

Should I be using the 32 bit version of sonar?

How new is you're JSonar build? All sets, including Channel Tools have been
updated

Subject: [Jsonar] Problems with HSC 197 sets and Windows 7 64-bit

I thought the issues with HSC 197 and Windows 7 64-bit had been worked out,
but maybe not...Or maybe this is something particular to my system.

here is an example of what I'm seeing:

1. On an audio track, insert the Sonitus FX Equillizer

2. In the FX window, hit ShiftControl+AltF1 to bring up the list of hot
spots.

3. Select "Band 1"

4. JAWS responds with a dialog as if I want to define a new hotspot asking
"select a function to run when color ..." and under this are a whole bunch
of options about speaking text, etc. the first time I do this, the color is
goldenRod1 and if I do it again, the color is gray something. This keeps
toggling.

4. Try again and select 'band 1 disabled".

5. Nothing happens and JAWS says "band 1 disabled". There doesn't seem to
be any way of enabling it.

6. control+Shift+1 does not work.

7. Selecting Frequency 1 = Alt +1 puts one in an edit box with a frequency
(I assume this is correct).

so, some things work, but others seem not to work.

I've seen this behavior with other hot spots (like the compressor), where
some items seem to work and others not work.

I have my resolution set to the proper resolution as specified in the JSonar
readme. I could not figure out how to set the Windows Classic colors and/or
32-bit color in Windows 7. this used to be in the Display settings of XP
but I don't know where this setting went to (if it exists at all).

I'm also running JAWS 11 latest build.

Has anyone else been experiencing these problems or is there something
special about my setup.

I just went through the trying to use the Session Drummer 3 HSC sets with
chris Belle on the phone for a long while. again, some hot spots seem to
work some of the time while others just didn't do what one would think.

Let me know if I can help work this out in any way if it is a prevalent
problem for others. I'm stumped right now.

thanks.
