opportunity to license TSpaces for commercial and corporate use.
Developers can still download and evaluate TSpaces for free on alphaWorks,
but with this new licensing opportunity developers, can now easily purchase
a commercial licenses, receive valuable updates and consult with a
community
of developers who have helped to shape the technology.
What is TSpaces?
---------------------------
A set of network communication buffers, APIs, and classes that allows
heterogeneous, Java-enabled devices to exchange data with little
programming effort.
Since it is written in Java, TSpace client applications can be loaded
dynamically into
any network-attached computer and with its small footprint, it is ideal for
bringing network
services to small and embedded systems; for example, it brings the power of
the network
to handheld devices, making them fully-fledged network computers.
IBM invests billions of dollars in research and development and
TSpaces is considered one of the best alpha technology to come
out of IBM Research and released on alphaWorks.
