Hi Federico, I think that what you need is as simple as doing something like
git fetch --tags git pull git checkout v0.4.0 make from within the git repo once version 0.4.0 is out. It's not quite "magical", but you will probably want to push the button on the upgrade yourself instead of having it take you by surprise.
