SS Scribus runs very slow on my computer, I still don't know the reason (maybe because I use Windows? Maybe the version of Scibus?). As I do not want to spend time to solve this problem, I go on writing with Openwriter. If you send me the Opendoc template I can coordinate my job to yours I also have no problem to use landscape for my documets Regarding the original Title page I recived, It seemed to me as a sort of descriptive page of function. In this case some pictures would be useful expecially for people who don't often use English Regarding what you write: "I think you an I are working on a common goal but with slightly different approaches... ans so on", I came to the same point in these last days. Both works are usefull. But we can evoid to write two times the same functions. If you already have a list of arguments you write, you can post it. In this way I evoid to be too much descriptive when I write the same arguments and I can refer to yours. I will go on posting the documents I write on JPP-DEVEL list, even if not complete, for 3 reasons 1) having back ideas and corrections, 2) giving ideas from a non developer's point of view (me) 3) helping newcomers to Openjump. By the time you correct my documents I think I can post them in the JPP-USER list to have more ideas from users - I want an idea from you Since I never considered my job as "personal", but a contribution to Openjump development, you are very welcome to add whatever explanation and correction (see below) you think on them. I probabily ask you an help since there are still some functions that I don't know (see in last document what I wrote in red fonts). I have some questions: Which is the progress of online help and how can we connect our both jobs with it (scribus doesn't export to html)? Should we put our jobs on the web page even if not complete? Regarding your mail "List Etiquette and "Non-English" Speakers" Be patient, SS, we "Italian hillbillies" use a lot of these fancy words like "sorry, excuseme or thanks" in our language and sometimes it is difficult to exit a linguistic habit. I'll try to ban these words from my English Dictionary. Regarding the Idea to split community in different linguistic groups. This never don't make me no never mind nohow. Let's go on using English (despite problems) until we consider to use other international languages (Spanish, Esperanto, Arab or Swahili) ;-) Peppe ___________________________________ L'email della prossima generazione?
