Are you sure it is indeed _old_???
It is a while I didn't actually look at OJ source,
but I seem to remember it was an alternative to the DataSource.
That is: DataSouce for files and DataStore for databases.
But I may have misunderstood or things may have changed...

In any case such a guide it's a very good idea to wrote!!!
