Thanks.  At least it is pretty up to date, latest additions in the howto are 
reflecting changes in the GDAL PDF driver from a few days ago.

This kind of PDF really offers some features which usually mean either using 
some web application or installing a special GIS software. With a non-free but 
non-cost TerraGo add-on to the Adobe reader you can even see a marker on a  map 
showing the your GPS location.  Works fine a GPS mouse, just plug it, select 
the port in PDF reader and you've done. But I have a feeling that some people 
do not want to use Adobe Reader and it is probable that other viewers do not 
support the most interesting stuff with attributes in the model tree or even 
selecting layer visibility. Perhaps someday someone will do a review about PDF 
viewers and how they support features like georeferencing, layers and 
attributes in the model tree.
