No worries. Like Richard mentioned, it's the official K-9 Mail repository.

Also, apps on Android have to be signed. As long as you have obtained
the version that is currently installed from a trusted source you can't
update the app using an APK that was signed using a different
certificate. So updating apps on Android with APKs from untrusted
sources is usually okay (there have been some bugs in the past, though :)).
