I work at Clinical Reference Laboratory.
We have around 4-5 people actively using Cold Fusion MX along with other languages ( nobody really does it full time)
I mentor the others on Cold Fusion, do other development work, and DBA work on our Oracle Databases as well
Not sure of too many other companies doing Cold Fusion in the area, besides the ones I've seen on the list.
We do projects for external, customer-facing sites as well as for our intranet.  We are working extensively to replace existing legacy applications with Cold Fusion and PHP applications accessing legacy data.
Our positions are all full-time, but they are not Cold Fusion only positions.
I learned Cold Fusion initially from a one week class, and then self-taught the last 3 years.

Subject: [KCFusion] OT Chatter

Here are some questions that might get some chatter going...

How many people are actively using Cold Fusion in their jobs?
What companies in KC use Cold Fusion?
What kind of a project are you currently involved in?
Are you involved in multiple projects at the same time?
Are CF jobs usually temp/contract work or are the jobs full time/full benefits kind of work?
How did you learn CF?
