ditto to Betty's comments below.  I'm the other half of the team.
I did get to attend a CF class when we started making the move from client/server to web.
Most of our apps work with data processing.
We use MX on Windows 2000.  Oracle DBs.
2 CF developers, 3 Powerbuilder, and 1 C++.  Currently looking into the various architectures to determine where we want to take things.

Subject: [KCFusion] OT Chatter

Here are some questions that might get some chatter going...

How many people are actively using Cold Fusion in their jobs?

There were 5, now we are down to 2 in my team (due to layoffs), another team has some ASP developers  - not sure how many.

We also use flash, currently looking into .NET

What companies in KC use Cold Fusion?

State Street.

What kind of a project are you currently involved in?

Various projects - mostly for internal use.

Are you involved in multiple projects at the same time?

Sometimes.

Are CF jobs usually temp/contract work or are the jobs full time/full benefits kind of work?

Fulltime with benefits.

How did you learn CF?

Read the training materials from those who took the intro training then went to advance class.
