--- Comment #3 from Murz <[email protected]> --- So, the root issue is that the extension creates the popout window with the wrong window type "popup" instead of something like "standard"? But why that "popup" window still appear on the taskbar initially, when created? And disappears right after losing the focus (switching to another non-firefox window), without any explicit minimizing action for this popup window and the main window (Firefox)? And what properties to set for the popout window to make it a "full-featured" separate window, to fix this issue? > just don't use this Firefox extension. Instead, right-click on the tab > > Move Tab > Move to new window. The whole idea of this extension is to create a "lightweight" window with only the page content, without tab bar and other browser UI buttons. There is also another extension https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/popout-tab that actually has the same issue.
