However, the output is extremely short and doesn't seem to contain any Vulkan validation errors or the crash trace. Is it possible the validation layers are logging to the system journal instead of the user unit? Do I need to explicitly set VK_INSTANCE_LAYERS=VK_LAYER_KHRONOS_validation to activate them on Arch/CachyOS?
