--- Comment #6 from [email protected] --- (In reply to tomashnyk from comment #5) > Please be nice. Nate was not right as they did not state or insinuate that this is niche. (You just did, and you would be right.) Nate incorrectly assumed I'm wanting to fix a bug and that this should be a bug report, that I'm simply trying to work around a single solveable issue, and seemingly insinuated that they enjoy saying 'no' to suggestions, indicated via the smiley and it's proximity to "say no to." > work around them, which are much easier to say no to. :) Thank you for painting a picture of the situation, and of course subtlety is what I had in mind when initially suggesting it. I feel injustice because it's difficult to accept, that you all don't see not only how feasible this is but the value it provides and how it's *not* off-brand from everything else you already do. The system tray Timer shows visual feedback, all the time. I can tell you, right now, I do not have a timer going, I don't need to click it to see that. The notification bell --to a lesser extent-- does this as well. I can tell you, right now, I do not have any new notifications, because the icon changes. The clipboard icon has 3 lines on the icon, it could swap icons if the latest entry is older than some amount. 0-line icon = no clipboard entry newer than n min 1-line icon = 1 clipboard entry newer than n min ...etc. I'm not suggesting use my ideas, just *something* > by simply adding some minimal display or overlay to show the recency and the whole thing is non-specifically entitled "Clipboard age display" the consensus has already been voiced as "no", that's fine. I've been very clear I'm only suggesting an improvement, take it or leave it but please don't make it out like I'm asking for something and that thing is unrealistic, obtrusive or a workaround to a bug. I would have suggested a notification or something if I thought it should be blantant. I would have submitted as a bug if I thought it was a bug. These are the only reasons I've come off as defensive. Thank you for you time, I hope you all reconsider this sometime in the future, be well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
