--- Comment #6 from Bruno Pagani <[email protected]> --- Just in case it would matter (but given the deep work of David, I doubt there is anything useful I can add here), also having the issue on a Dell Precision 5530 2-in-1, which has the rare Kaby Lake 8706G CPU, that does include both an Intel HD630 and a Radeon Pro WX Vega M GL GPU. Lots of freeze, with this in journal each time: ``` kernel: amdgpu 0000:01:00.0: [drm] PCIE GART of 256M enabled (table at 0x000000F400000000). kernel: amdgpu 0000:01:00.0: [drm] UVD and UVD ENC initialized successfully. kernel: amdgpu 0000:01:00.0: [drm] VCE initialized successfully. kwin_wayland[1930]: The main thread was hanging temporarily! ``` This started with plasma 6.8 of course, and I’m currently running kernel 7.2.10 on Arch Linux. Will try the proposed workaround using the ENV var. I also confirm JW analysis, `udevadm info -e | grep renderD12` returns them in this order: ``` P: /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:01.0/0000:01:00.0/drm/renderD129 P: /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:02.0/drm/renderD128 ``` -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
