Right its capped at 100. When I force Kwin's fps to 144, that's what I get.
When I don't force it, I'll get either 60 or 75 depending on whether I've done
"kwin --replace" or not.

The resolution is the same. It's 2560x1440 all the way from Plymouth to login.
I do notice that SDDM does run at 60Hz though and then after logging in KDE
will switch the monitor Hz rate to 144. Except there's no corresponding change
in refresh rate in the compositor.
