When I don't force it, I'll get either 60 or 75 depending on whether I've done "kwin --replace" or not. The resolution is the same. It's 2560x1440 all the way from Plymouth to login. I do notice that SDDM does run at 60Hz though and then after logging in KDE will switch the monitor Hz rate to 144.
