I have edited the filename to match the metadata, the point is that all dates match, and so does digikam. For mp4, not so much. But as you say, all manufacturers do it differently. I will find a workaround somehow, unless I can make digikam always respect my set createdate. Judging from your answers, not possible atm. Maybe in the future there will be an option.
