In practice: Fair enough if this also applies to, say, browsers installed on the same OS. Without that the experience is academical and sets us apart in a minimal population. I don't even know if it's possible to have a Linux system without curl, bash etc., all of these components have own visions of privacy. "xxxxx does not track" in practice leads to something like "no offline capabilities enabled by default". The question about "tracking" is a special hypothetical consequence of (presumed) lack of trust to KDE developers and/or KDE distributors. Where one group has no 100% control (in positive sense) over the other. Moreover let me analyse :how can Plasma affect this behaviour in apps when they are loosely connected as there's no longer a thing like "KDE app"? :) I'd rather apply the statement about KF5, even it's still a marginal feature because; as it was said in this thread already any application is free to have online capabilities. IMHO, while it's not easy to design, it would improve/modernize many of them but I am not pushing for anything. > -- > sebas > > Sebastian Kügler • http://vizZzion.org • http://www.kde.org > _______________________________________________ > kde-community mailing list > kde-community@kde.org > https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-community > -- regards, Jaroslaw Staniek KDE: : A world-wide network of software engineers, artists, writers, translators : and facilitators committed to Free Software development - http://kde.org Calligra Suite: : A graphic art and office suite - http://calligra.org Kexi: : A visual database apps builder - http://calligra.org/kexi Qt Certified Specialist: : http://www.linkedin.com/in/jstaniek
