that does not prevent people from derailing the discussions by sending off-
topic emails. noise is, unfortunately, tolerated and therefore encouraged on 
k-c-d. a prefix on a subject line does nothing to resolve that.

we need to address the situation head-on or accept that more people will want 
to take their productive discussions elsewhere where they can be had in peace.
