FWIW, the most probable reason that uvisor never made it into GENERIC is that 
is that coldsync *does* support operation through ugen and all the FreeBSD 
developers with palm devices seem to prefer it over pilot-link-based 
applications, which (I supposed) do not. Palm users with different 
preferences should probably go and complain on [email protected] if 
they want to see uvisor in GENERIC.
