Weird thing was I did a cvsup -- and it looks as though I must have done
it a day or two before the package was upgraded -- shows 9ne cannot be too
careful about checking out latest version. Any way thanks to you the
compile is proceeding. I have found a number of .la problems which I have
fixed along the way but have now run up against a gpgme bug which I have
posted seperately.
