Don't take this personally, but the amount, locatation and detail of 'needed' documentation is relative to the person sitting in front of the computer and we acknowledge that fact by providing and attending to this free support mailinglist and the website (http://freebsd.kde.org) in our unpaid spare time. Many people manage to install FreeBSD and KDE along with it just fine with the existing documentation.
