Well, to be perfectly honest I have no idea what such a readme would contain 
but gratuitous repetitions of information readily available elsewhere.

Note that the 'make install' versus 'make && make install' procedure I advised 
you about is *not* to blame for any of the actual problems you've been 
experiencing (I've mentioned in my previous email the possible fallout from 
that).
