I am running the latest available version of KDE under X11 on Fedora 44. Lately, I've noticed an annoying behavior I don't recall observing in the past.
My application menu includes an entry for Xterm that once specified command line arguments to set the font and geometry so that a new window would initially stretch the full height of my screen. Looking now, those arguments are gone. However, a new window still opens as I intended. However, if I grab the title bar of such a new window so that I can move it elsewhere on the screen, and I accidentally move it down a small amount, the window immediately shrinks to be only about half its former height. I can stretch it back to the original position. This doesn't seem to happen twice on the same window. I've looked through system settings but haven't found any setting that seems relevant. I'd like to disable this annoying behavior. Can anyone suggest what I can do?
