Indeed. I've long been aware of the edge problem and all such settings
in my system are disabled. What I described above seems to be entirely
new. Surprisingly, and irrationally, the screen edges options are under
"mouse and touchscreen". Yes, you can use a mouse to move a window,
but there are keyboard methods as well. I've never tested to see if
the edge silliness applies when using the keyboard.
